You’re invited to the official opening of Surf Coast Art Space

Official opening Friday 2nd 6.30-8pm

Exhibition open Fri – Sun 11-5 June 2nd – 25th   Special open day Monday June 12th

Situated overlooking magnificent Spring Creek, Ashmore Arts is a commercial hub for local artists of all genres to work and create pieces for private and commercial clients. The Ashmore Artists will be exhibiting at the Art Space, Anglesea in an exhibition so diverse you shall probably not see this very often. The artists will be displaying a plethora of design, sculpture, painting, furniture, pottery, concrete, metal and timber, much of which is influenced from their natural surrounds.

The exhibition will showcase works from Natalie Martin – illustrator, Glen Hunwick – animator, sculptor, Mark Trinham – painter, sculptor/public art, Leighton Edwards – fine artist, Nathan Patterson – indigeneous artist, Glenn Romanis – sculptor/public art, Chela Edmunds – ceramicist, Rowena Martinich – abstract expressionist painter, Pete Cromer –  happy art creator, Geoffrey Carran – painter of birds,  Nick Lindsay –  concrete and wooden furniture maker, Kathryn Junor – painter, sculptor, David Graham – Blacksmith, Nicola Cerini – designer,  Ellise Roberts – textile designer, Jewel Beetle – sculpture and public art, Zeele Furniture – wooden furniture and Marisa Schlic – photography.

Come along to the opening to chat with the artists on Friday 2nd June 6.30 – 8pm

The exhibition will be open 11am – 5pm Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 2nd June – Sunday 25th June –  including Monday 12th June (Queen’s Birthday)
