Fun with Glass Decoration
Learn techniques to decorate glass objects

Description

Spend a relaxing afternoon playing with a variety of techniques to decorate glass objects. You’ll embellish several Christmas baubles and at least one other glass container.

In this Festival of Glass workshop, you’ll learn about the most suitable materials for different effects, and where to buy specialist supplies. As well you’ll get information on how to make some supplies with cheap household products, and try doing this yourself.

As some of the materials are smelly, we’ll spend most of the workshop under cover outside, so bring insect repellent if you need it. Things might get messy, so wear old clothes or something to cover up with, and spectacles or other eye protection. Janet will provide non-latex disposable gloves.

The workshop fee is $20 and the materials fee is also $20, both payable at the workshop. No experience is necessary. The minimum participant age is 16, or 10 if enrolled with an adult.
