Artist in Schools FUNDING

What is on offer?

Are you interested in working creatively with young people in Victorian primary and secondary schools?

Creative Victoria is inviting creative professionals and teachers to attend an Artists in Schools information session during July.

The Artists in Schools program provides opportunities for professional artists and designers to work with young people in Victorian primary and secondary schools.

Grants of $10,000 are available in the next funding round for Victorian schools to engage a Victorian creative professional for approximately 20 days, to work with students and teachers on a creative project. Read more…

Artists:

Artists may work in any art form or combination of art forms, including literature, visual arts, performing arts and new media.

The artist must be a practicing professional Victorian artist who relates well to young people and communicates, discusses and demonstrates their art with ease. Artists are required to have a Working with Children Check to work in a school.

Schools:

An Artists in Schools project needs significant support from the school. Click here to see what your school needs to provide.

The 2017 funding round closing dates will be 20 September 2016.
