CANOE ARTIST WORKSHOP
Between 5 - 7 practicing artists will be selected to participate in a workshop with Canoe Artists.

What is on offer?

Expressions of Interest are sought from practicing artists wishing to participate in a workshop and mentorship program with Mountain to Mouth (M~M2018) Canoe Artists Kerrie Bedson and Leslie Pearson.

Background

In the tradition of Wadawurrung, M~M2018 Geelong’s 80km Extreme Arts Walk creates a contemporary songline across the Geelong and Queenscliffe regions. Community ambassadors will carry Canoe, an international ephemeral sculptural commission, along the pathway over two days from the You Yangs mountain range to the Barwon River Mouth where it will be set alight and sent out to sea.  M~M2018 will commence at 10.30am on Friday 4 May and conclude at 6.30pm Saturday 5 May 2018.
