EXPRESSION OF INTEREST – $20,000 Public Art Commission
The City of Greater Geelong is seeking to commission suitably qualified/experienced sculptor/artist/creative/team to create a public art work that will become a strong visual point of connection in the walking trail which tells the story of migration from the 1860’s until the present day.

What is on offer?

$20,000 Community Culture Connection Public Art Commission

The total project budget is $20,000 exclusive of GST. This amount is inclusive of artist’s fees, travel, accommodation and expenses, and all costs associated with construction, delivery and installation of the artwork.

We are seeking expressions of interest from a suitably qualified/experienced sculptor/artist/creative/team.

Who is providing the opportunity?

The City of Greater Geelong has received funding from the Department of Justice to deliver the Community, Culture Connection project.

Who is eligible and what is required?

The successful Artists/team will be required to attend site visits and briefings. The artwork will be located along the newly designed Community, Culture Connection Walk in North Geelong. There are two proposed sites for consideration as indicated on the map below. Final site selection will be negotiated with the successful artist.
