On Water exhibition at Deakin Waterfront Campus
Call out to artists

What is on offer?

Call for artists to submit work for the On Water exhibition at Deakin Waterfront Campus. Students, ex-students and the wider community are invited to submit work for this exhibition which relates to the theme of water.

Your work must be delivered by Wednesday 27 January or Thursday 28 January to Project Space @ Deakin, on the corner of Western Beach Rd and Cunningham St, in the Sally Walker Building, Waterfront Campus of Deakin University, Geelong.

Some guidelines for your work:

  • Unframed works on paper/prints will be pinned or held with bulldog clips and hung on pins/nails.
  • General limit of 4 works if under 35cm height or width.
  • Salon hang under curatorial direction but everything will go in – after negotiation with artists when they submit.
  • Work can be in any medium that relate to the theme of water. It could be a new work that responds to the work by artist Anne Scott Wilson (new lecturer in Visual Arts at the Waterfront campus), or existing works that relate in some way to these prompts: movement, stillness, reflection, travel, landscape, the body, the moon, the tides, time, gravity, colour, the waves, the ripples and the moods.
