Roald Dahl’s ‘The Witches’ at the Potato Shed
Posted 29 June 2017
School holidays are around the corner. Don’t miss out on Roald Dahl’s ‘The Witches’ show which will be brought to life at the Potato Shed this Saturday 1 July.
Kids will love the story of a brave young boy and his Norwegian grandmother as they battle England’s witches.
Brave boys and girls, rat-racers and adults are in for a wicked and wonderful time. Lucas Jervies directs this bubbling concoction, based on David Wood’s adaptation of the Roald Dahl classic, with one actor running amok in a virtuosic physical performance. Recommended for ages 6 and over.
“Performed by a single actor…who shifts from character to character without drawing breath, this interpretation of Dahl’s scariest tale is full of life, physical movement, mischief and even audience interaction as people are singled out for witchery.” Helen Musa, City News
Don’t miss out! Tickets still available for the morning show at 11am. Tickets almost sold out for 1pm.
