The Witches is one of Roald Dahl’s scariest tales, full of life and physical movement with a little bit of audience interaction as people are singled out for witchery.
The play centres around one little boy who unwittingly stumbles into the annual meeting of witches. He hears their nasty plan to get rid of all the children in the world – by turning them into mice. It’s going to take smarts and sneakiness to stop them and not get squished in the process.
The play is recommended for ages 6 and over and children would enjoy it just as much as adults.
The Witches will be performed on 1 July at 11am and 1pm at the Potato Shed, 29-41 Peninsula Drive, Drysdale.
Tickets can be booked at the Potato Shed venue or over the phone on 5251 1998 or at the City of Greater Geelong Customer Service Centre.
