A showcase of artworks from artist with a living disability

Rachinger Gallery is proud to host genU’s annual art exhibition, artX. ArtX has ten years of history, celebrating artists who identify as living with disability and or have a history of mental health. The exhibition embraces diversity, inclusiveness and celebrates amazing talent.

This year the exhibition has been showcased a little differently with artX becoming both a virtual and an actual exhibition. Featuring distinguished artworks by Victorian-based artists living in Warrnambool, Wyndham and Colac as well as Geelong and surrounds there are more than 120 artworks are on show.

Glen Smith, Trung Truong and Morgan Jamieson are the selected judges who had the difficult task of choosing the winning works across four categories. The works range from abstraction to text based, painting to collage, and portraiture to popular culture, artX is diverse, challenging and beautiful.

Artworks are on sale now so make sure you get down to the Eastern Hub for an unmissable show by artists who visualise the world in new and unexpected ways. When visiting Eastern Hub, there are strict COVID protocols in place to ensure everyone stays safe while viewing the exhibition.

Stay tuned for more information on People’s Choice Award voting.
