Spent years travelling to Belize, Tajikistan, Egypt, Tanzania, Chile, and lived in Europe and The Philippines, and Papua New Guinea. While in Port Moresby, won first prize in Portraiture, awarded by Leonard French.

Sisca’s experience as a painter and resident in other cultures have combined to produce vibrantly coloured, sensuous paintings, in oil and water colour.  Countless exhibitions and numerous commissions with works hanging in collections in Australia ,America and the Netherlands.

“When I moved to the coast from inner city Melbourne, the impact on my paintings was immediate. I went from strongly figurative human images to Landscape.  the subjects dense, my relations to the land whimsical, with strange marine and bird life beginning to emerge. I work in a manner which allows forms and figures to present themselves, without prior planning or predictability.. but I spend many hours shaping both the details and the whole”

Sisca is currently represented by Robert Avitabile at Metropolis Gallery Ryrie Street Geelong and has a studio in Apollo Bay
