Soula has a huge love for drawing.
The process of printmaking formalises drawing results for Soula and although she needs much help, she finds the disciplined process a great pleasure.
Soula also enjoys painting working with acrylic, oils and egg tempera. Her subjects reflect her life activities through whimsical characters or building facades and streetscapes. The egg tempera technique is applied to her Byzantine icons which she has now also begun to explore in other mediums.
Co Directing Queenscliff Gallery & Workshop (QG&W) with her husband Theo, Soula can apply her creativity in an even broader way. In their 1868 Wesleyan church space, Soula and Theo curate exhibitions and present the works of inspiring Australian artists who also share their love for printmaking.
