Raw passion, soul, grit and emotion are what you’ll always get from Tim Hulsman.
You may be enthralled by his horizontal slide guitar playing, or moved to laughter or tears by his lyrics or banter. The hair on the back of your neck may stand up when he sings with that voice of his, but one thing is certain…you won’t easily forget the Tim Hulsman experience.
Tim has been independently releasing and touring records in Australia for over 10 years.
His song writing blurs the lines between Blues, Folk, Country, Roots and Rock and is as difficult for him to label as it is for his listeners. This is refreshing and increasingly rare in an age ruled by marketing that underestimates the intelligence of its audience.
- Artist Of The Month – September 2017, on Radio Memphis Around The World (United States)
- Alex Legg Memorial Foundation Scholarship Award 2015 (Australia) for excellence in song writing, stagecraft and artistic vision.
A recent foray into theatre with the Anglesea Performing Arts production “The Hope Song” has been very successful with the play being nominated for several awards in the upcoming Geelong Theatre Awards night.
Tim teaches music privately and also in several Primary Schools in Bellarine District for the High Voltage Rock School program.
