Be apart of shaping the Creative direction of Victoria
Posted 1 August 2019
Next Wednesday 14 August from 5:30pm at Geelong Performing Arts Centre, you have a chance to help shape the creative direction of our state.
The Victorian Government is seeking views from across the state’s creative community to inform its next four-year creative industries strategy, for the period 2020-2024.
Geelong Performing Arts Centre and the City of Greater Geelong will make a formal submission to the strategy development process, representing the aspirations and needs of our greater Geelong region. To better inform our submission, we’ll be convening a workshop and we’d like to hear from you first-hand – come along and contribute!
Join your fellow creatives at the Drama Theatre, Geelong Peforming Arts Centre, from 5:30pm to 7pm – and stick around to network from 7pm to 8pm.
Please RSVP to by Monday 5th August.
The workshop will be facilitated by a great friend of the arts in our region, Bryce Ives. Ahead of this workshop, we encourage you to visit www.engage.vic.gov.au/creative-strategy for further context. You can also make your own contribution to the consultation via this website or find out about the public forums being held across the state.
We look forward to you attending the workshop and for your contribution.
