Celebrating 25 Years in Style
The Blues Train has been rockin’ the rails for 25 years and they’re ready to celebrate in style!
Approaching its 25th season in 2019, the Blues Train has seen more than 100,000 people experience the unique venue. Its benefit to the local economy is undeniable, with many visitors from Melbourne, interstate and across Australia coming to the region.
The line up for the 25th season will see some favourites from the early years, making their return to the train and Hugo T Armstrong mentions
” I’ve booked some really young exciting musicians to kick off our official 25th year in 2019.”
The journey includes four musical performances of 30 minutes each, with an interval and rest stop between each. Allowing passengers to change carriages at each interval so that everyone gets to see all four acts.
The Blues Train starts and finishes in Queenscliff and rides along the Bellarine Railway. You’ll go on an incredible blues journey down the tracks, and at the end, you’ll be safely deposited back on the historic Queenscliff and Bellarine Railway platform.
