COVID-19 Business Recovery Grants
Has your business been impacted by COVID-19 restrictions?
The City of Greater Geelong’s COVID-19 Business Recovery Grants program has been designed to help your small-medium businesses adapt, innovate and invest in your recovery.
The first round of grants are now open, offering up to $5,000 (for sole traders and businesses with up to 20 employees) and up to $10,000 (for businesses with 21 – 50 employees) for a range of approved projects.
The purpose of these grants is to support local businesses, helping to re-establish operations, invest in businesses and to develop new services and ways of working, adapting to the post-COVID-19 economy.
Grant objectives include support for innovation and build capacity by encouraging businesses to invest in options such as:
- new technologies and digital platforms
- professional development or capacity-building initiatives
- alternative service models or business models
- local-business-to-local-business collaboration
- Provide planning application support for businesses wanting to relocate or expand in the Greater Geelong municipality (applicants must have attended a pre-application meeting with the City’s Planning team.)
The first round will close on the 30th of November.
