DENUDE – Art Installation

Make sure to view the incredible, new art installation located in Little Malop St.

Celebrating the path from wonder to wisdom with Denude, the projection is a journey through Victoria’s sublime living world. The projection creates a spiritual resilience in the face of a seemingly impending climate destruction, and will suspend your disbelief whilst flying through un-denuded landscapes.

Denude is a magical realist video art work that interrogates homo sapiens technological mediation and othering of the living world. Led by our literally denuded protagonist, the baby of the baby guerrilla paste up, join us as we float through living worlds of local and regional significance.

We recognise the Wadawurrung people as the traditional owners of the land upon which this work is exhibited. We recognise that sovereignty was never ceded, and pay our respects to elders past, present and future.
