ONLINE – Exhibition Daydream Space
2 April - 1 July
Daydream exhibition curated by artist Yan Huang is a collaborative installation that experiments with visuals, soundscapes, materials and relative spaces. Aptly titled, it amplifies those moments where our thoughts wander and our experience is transformed.
Daydream is a dreamy environment that evoke all your senses – visual, sound, smell and touch using custom design elements, lighting, plants, fog, fragrances and water.
Daydream showcases the relationship between the environment and our physical and mental well being. The installation also demonstrates how an environment – which is consciously evolved through design – can amplify those benefits.
Daydream was part of Melbourne Design Week event sponsored by National Gallery of Victoria and Creative Victoria, an installation that merged nature with human design.
Daydream virtual tour is now available online – visit ANYTIME from the comfort of your home.
Yan Huang has a studio at Anakie where she works without constraint to express and create. Her work is sinuous, robust, polished, and exploratory: there’s a whisper of practicality and playfulness about the pieces. The suite of material includes: metals, stone, woods, glass, polymer.
