An exhibition by Marjorie Harrison, Lynette Palmer and Anne Pinkas
Marjorie, Lynette and Anne are friends who share a passion for printmaking with all its complexities.
In this exhibition they each present literal and figurative reflections of their art via a variety of mediums.
Marj considers how the printmaking process can be spontaneous and free as she explores themes of flora and fauna. For her the moment of pulling a print can be a joyous occasion.
Lynette, on her journey as printmaker, moves through techniques in her series of Australian birds. For her printmaking is both delightful and surprising.
Anne’s early works show the myriad possibilities of actual reflections in glass and metal. In her later works she contemplates the range of subject matter, from the joyous to the political.
When these artists from different backgrounds come together, bound by the love of creating and expressing, REFLECTIONS is the result.
