13 January @ 9:00 am - 8 February @ 2:00 pm
Developed by Behind the Wire, They Cannot Take the Sky traverses refugees’ lived experience of immigration detention through a range of mediums including short films, photographic portraits and text.
Behind the Wire works with men, women and children who have sought asylum in our community and who experienced mandatory detention in Australia, Papua New Guinea or Nauru.
They Cannot Take the Sky is the first touring exhibition to come to the Rachinger and is supported by Creative Victoria and Road to Refuge.
