Twilight Flames: glass weaving and sculpting spectacular
15 February @ 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm| $55.00
Internationally renowned Venetian master glass blower Mauro Bonaventura will light up his torch at The Range @ Curlewis to sculpt pieces of stunning glass art.
Mauro is known for his spectacular life-sized woven glass art human figures, stunning glass spheres and beautifully elegant solid figurines of horses and human figures. Be entranced as you watch him pull strands of hot glass and weave them into shapes that surprise and intrigue.
There will be a commentary by a local glass artist explaining what Mauro is doing as he sculpts the glass. Three large screens will show the torch work and glass sculpting close-up.
This is a fantastic opportunity to meet a talented and charming international glass artist and watch him work, while enjoying wonderful food and wine from the Bellarine Peninsula.
One of Mauro’s unique and highly collectable sculptures will be the major prize in a limited ticket raffle. There will also be door prizes on the night.
