Distant Voices: Paintings by Karen Redlich

A solo exhibition of Acrylic Paintings by Illustrator and Designer Karen Redlich. Karen’s works are inspired by her travels to archaeological sites in Scotland and Ireland, where she picked up many folk stories and myths from her guides. Karen’s paintings tell the evocative  story of various figures from legend and history. Even though who or what they once were has been blurred by antiquity, their voices echo down to us from the distant past.

CESAR FRANCK AND HIS STUDENTS – Windfire Chamber Choir

The Windfire Chamber Choir, conducted by Rick Prakhoff will perform works by Cesar Franck, Chausson, Duparc, Ropartz, Lekeu and Vierne. The rarely heard Mass in A, Op.12 by Cesar Franck in his revised version featuring solo harp, cello, organ and solo soprano will be the main choral item. The 3rd Geelong Pride Film Festival will be held at Courthouse Youth Arts and the Pivotonian Cinema from 2nd – 5th April 2020. The Geelong Pride Film Festival (GPFF) in a volunteer-run LGBTIQ+ film festival that screens contemporary and classic LGBTIQ+ themed films for the whole community.
