GAC a new Creative Engine grant round focussed on supporting positive risk-taking among homegrown creatives

Geelong Arts Centre has just announced a new grant round for local creatives – are you an artist or creative looking to develop new and exciting work, push the boundaries, and advance your contemporary arts practice? Then @Geelong Arts Centre’s #CreativeEngine team want to hear from you! Here to inspire creativity and support positive risk-taking, Geelong Arts Centre’s Creative Engine is proud to announce a new round of grants for creatives of the G21 region.

Brief overview:

There are six available grant packages up for grabs, totalling $12,000 in financial grants and over $30,000 of value-in-kind studio access at our landmark Ryrie Street building. Each are focussed on directly benefitting individuals and organisations who are looking to develop new and exciting work, push the boundaries, and advance their contemporary arts practice.

Applications are welcomed from all practising artists across all artforms looking to develop new works, and First Nations artists, artists of diverse backgrounds and artists with disabilities are encouraged to apply.

Grant applications will open from 9:00am Monday 28 June and will close at 5:00pm, Sunday 25 July, with successful applicants notified on Thursday 26 August.
