Grant writing workshops: Unlock the mystery world of grants

Grovedale Neighbourhood House will be offering Grant Writing Workshops to community groups and not for profit organisations this term.

The workshops are Facilitated by Pirooz, our own community development officer with over 15 years’ experience in the community and government sector with a sound understanding of what funding bodies look for when they assess community grant applications.

So, is your community group, club or organisation is planning to run a project and apply for funding in 2019? Has your application been knocked back by funding bodies in the past and you want to understand why? Do you want to put your best foot forward and present a convincing grant application?

If you said yes to any or all of these questions, then we invite you to register in our Grant Writing Workshops!

There are 4 dates and time slots to choose from!

The 3 hour intensive workshop will take the participants through the step by step process of writing a convincing application and will cover:

  1. Developing your project idea;
  2. Pitching a project idea to the funding body;
  3. Budget and project planning;
  4. Partnership Development;
  5. Evaluation;
  6. Acquittal
