National Wool Museum set to farewell Marion Hall Best with Retro Cocktail Party

Posted 1 November 2018

The National Wool Museum will be sending one of their latest exhibitions off in style – with a retro cocktail party, in celebration of Australian designer, Marion Hall Best and the Geelong Revival Motoring Festival. Marion Hall Best was one of Australia’s first independent and most influential interior designers. Her work was described as electrifying, vital and avant-garde, with her colourful career spanning four decades from the mid-1930s.

On the closing night of the Marion Hall Best: Interiors exhibition, you’re invited to frock up in your favourite retro outfit and dance the night away with live music from acclaimed jazz-soul band Soul Chic and cocktails, plus experience the fabrics, furnishings and design schemes of her colourful career, at the National Wool Museum in Geelong. You’ll also be able to learn a few new dance moves on the night with retro dance teacher Ms Bon Bon from Bella-Esque Dance.

Ticket includes access to the event, exhibitions and 1 cocktail.
This event is strictly 18+ – bookings essential.
