Watch This Space! New artwork soon to be installed in Malop St

With Green Spine works in Malop street nearing completion we are excited to be adding some cultural fabric to the space with a new Public Artwork. Watch This Space! Don Walters Artwork ‘Peloton’. Arrives next week.

Here are 2 of the 6 plinths that have been installed. (seen here in their raw state)

Don Walters is an Australian sculptor, painter and graphic artist. He often explores the use of simple shapes and bold colours in combination with figurative and cartoon characters. His work explores aspects of human nature and our relationship to the natural world. Various images and themes are ongoing and reoccur, such as fans, ziggurats, spikes, cliff edges, dinosaurs and bubble boys.

Since 2005 Don Walters has made numerous public artworks in Perth and regional Western Australia. He has lived and worked in France and Italy and has held numerous solo exhibitions in Melbourne, Sydney and Adelaide. His work is represented in Public Regional Galleries in Victoria and numerous corporate and private collections throughout Australia.
