New Code of Practice from Live Performance Australia

Posted 30 August 2018

Last April, Screen Australia adopted a Code of Conduct to prevent sexual harassment. As a result, all  new projects approved by Screen Australia must comply with the Code.

Similarly, Live Performance Australia (LPA) has launched its Code of Practice, coming into effect on Monday 3 September. The stated aims of the code are to Prevent Workplace Discrimination, Harassment, Sexual Harassment and Bullying. It is a condition of membership that LPA members comply with the Code of Practice.

Creative Victoria has strongly recommended that all organisations in the screen and performing arts sectors review and adopt the Codes.
