What is on offer?
The City of Greater Geelong is holding an Art Exhibition ‘THROUGH MY EYES’ at the Gordon Gallery in celebration of International Day of People With Disability (IDPWD) on December 3.
We are inviting people with a lived experience of disability to enter an artwork to exhibit by completing an Expression of Interest form.

THEME - Open theme.
MEDIUM - Artwork will be accepted in a variety of mediums. Please specify in the form.
CATALOGUE - A catalogue will be produced by the City at no cost to artists or service provider. Each artist needs to supply a final JPEG of their artwork OR themselves and a brief artist’s statement about their work. Because of tight deadlines all information will need to be received by 10 November for this to take place.
PROMOTION - The Exhibition will be promoted in the IDPWD 2019 Regional Program, Arts Atlas, Geelong Australia, website, online marketing, social media and through various networks.
SALES - Sale of artwork is at artist’s discretion. All monies received will go directly to the
artist. The City will not profit from any sales. The City does not accept any responsibility
for financial transactions. The City do not accept any responsibility for damaged or lost artwork.
MEDIA - Photos or video may be taken by staff or media on the opening night. All participants
who do not wish to be photographed must let organisers know.
ARTWORK SELECTION - Although we strongly believe in supporting each artist’s creative integrity, the City cannot display works that depict and/or encourage drug use, explicit sexual or discriminatory imagery or language. The selection panel reserves the right to refuse entries to
