Pick My Project – Applications now open
Pick My Project gives Victorians the chance to suggest project ideas, and then vote on the projects they believe should be funded to help make their local communities an even better place to live.

What is on offer?

Christine Couzens announced “I am delighted to share with you information about the $30 million Victorian-first community grants initiative, Pick My Project.”

Pick My Project gives Victorians the chance to suggest project ideas, and then vote on the projects they believe should be funded to help make their local communities an even better place to live.

Anyone in Victoria aged 16 and above will be eligible to apply for a grant of between $20,000 and $200,000.

All they’ll need is a good idea – and the support of their community – to be successful.

The projects that receive the most votes on a new online voting system will get funded.

There won’t be bureaucrats and strict guidelines behind closed doors – this is local ideas, and local choices.

This is about giving the community the opportunity to choose the most important projects in their local area.

Every neighbourhood has them – the little projects that never get funding and never get done.

Well now, if there’s a project that our community wants and needs, you can get it done.

Now you’ll be able to convince your neighbours, to pick your project.

Applications for project ideas will remain open until Sunday 24 June 2018. Voting for eligible project ideas will begin in July 2018, with winning projects announced in September 2018.
