The Social Studio is a fashion school, a clothing label, a retail shop, a digital textile print studio, a clothing manufacturer and a community space created from the style and skills of young people from new migrant and refugee communities.

They are a social enterprise that champions the values of diversity, community, education, environmentally sustainable design and ethical business practices.

Dr Alessandro Demaio has helped set up an initiative with The Social Studio to address the current shortage issue of medical scrubs in Victoria.

All frontline healthcare workers need scrubs to stay safe from #COVID19.

In partnering with the Social Studio and their team of refugee and migrant women they have been able to design and to produce scrubs here in our community, for our frontline heroes.

If you are in need of scrubs or know a family member and friend who does, please send an email to Info@thesocialstudio.org today.

They are working to produce urgently need scrubs at cost price for our healthcare workers, helping them stay safe during the #covid_19 crisis.

The team are so proud to be able to make such an important impact at this time.
