The Whistleblower takes over
Posted 30 August 2018
These past few days has seen downtown G-town transformed into a movie set for the filming of the Australian-Chinese co-production of The Whistleblower.
With a budget of $40 million, it is, to date, the largest Australian-Chinese co-production.
The streets of Geelong’s CBD were used for major car sequences and stunts.
The action was centred around Moorabool, Gheringhap, Corio and Brougham Sts and many people had great viewing from a number of buildings along the streets.
The production returns to Geelong mid-September – so if you are around, you’ll be witness to some fast-paced action!
More details about the production are on the Geelong Australia website
