Queenscliff Gallery & Workshop
To enhance the arts culture in the community for locals and visitors by exhibiting the works of Australian artists, running specialty events and workshops, and offering print access to professional printmakers.

Description of Venue

QG&W is located in Victoria in the Bellarine Peninsula’s coastal town of Queenscliff. QG&W’s main focus is printmaking and works on paper and proudly represents the work of over 70 Australian artists/printmakers.

After four years of operation, QG&W steps up in 2020-2021 planning more formal representation of a select group of artists who also work in other mediums such as sculpture and painting. This direction is a result of many factors – one being the gallery’s building reputation.

QG&W have been host to many feature exhibitions such as, Streeton Prints (the unseen honeymoon etchings of Sir Arthur Streeton) and also inaugurated a National printmaking prize, the Peebles Print Prize.

Types of Events

As well as operating the gallery space, QG&W also offers art and printmaking workshops, printmaking studio access, publishing and editioning services.

HOURS: 10am – 5pm. Closed Tuesdays from March – November. Open 7 days through summer.
